"Fluidity" was conceived as a suite of five musical pieces inspired by recent changes in club music, from hybrid Dancehall to hypnotic UK Techno, including electronic experiments on Chinese and South American scenes.

« I wanted to make this sonic ecosystem tangible by the use of my voice as a multiple sound source (chanted / sampled, rhythmic / melodic) which acts like a fluid around the different sets of percussions and instruments which come to line this story. »

Tim’s voice plays the role of a spectral envelope that would act as a revealer in this excursion through tempi, intensities and musical forms. This in order to signify the sound imprint of a man's body crossed by many eddies, those of his own fluctuating masculinity like those of an epidemic world where social conflicts around questions of gender and sexuality have not had of ceasing to develop, stoking a hatred of otherness which has become worse than sickly.

« This project also marks a break with the stoicism of my previous experiments in the field of electronic music, while being the manifesto of a desire for multiplicity in my approaches to them. »

The predominance of percussion gives way to structures parasitized by sounds of mechanical collisions, metallic synthesizers and unidentified instruments which mark this state of existential fluidity which is its living origin.
